For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14.in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (1:13) 그가 우리를 흑암의 권세에서 건져내사 그의 사랑의 아들의 나라로 옮기셨으니
(1:14) 그 아들 안에서 우리가 속량 곧 죄 사함을 얻었도다
SUMMARY
In human notions, there is no “the dominion of darkness” and no “the kingdom of the Son he loves”. Humans only have a world that they can sense and perceive, and people call this ‘reality’. The reason why humans cannot recognize the “the dominion of darkness” is because there is a problem with the “reality perception of humans” of the ego held by the devil. 인간의 관념 속에는 ‘흑암의 권세’도 없고 ‘사랑의 아들의 나라’도 없다. 인간에게는 오직 자신들이 감각할 수 있고 인지할 수 있는 세계만 존재하며 사람들은 이것을 ‘현실’이라고 부른다. 인간이 ‘흑암의 권세’를 인식할 수 없는 것은 악마에게 장악된 인간자아의 ‘현실인식’에 문제가 있기 때문이다.
The ego interprets all external environments in a way that is favorable to them and understands reality in the direction of securing their own justification. This human perception of reality is the result of the “the dominion of darkness”. Therefore, humans cannot recognize and escape from the dominion of darkness in which they are controlled. 자아는 모든 외부환경을 자신에게 유리한 쪽으로 해석하며 자신의 정당성을 확보하고자 하는 방향으로 현실을 이해한다. 인간의 이 같은 현실인식이 바로 ‘흑암의 권세’가 활동한 결과물이다. 따라서 인간은 스스로 자신이 장악되어있는 흑암의 권세를 인식할 수도 없고 거기서 빠져 나올 수도 없다.
Therefore, the only time the identity and function of “the dominion of darkness” is revealed is when “the kingdom of the Son he loves” appears. Because the saints who have received the Holy Spirit have already been brought into the “the kingdom of the Son”, they sense and grasp the activities of the dominion of darkness. The saints come to know that this “the dominion of darkness” is a powerful force that makes humans commit sin and binds them to that sin. They also come to realize that the sin has denied the existence of the “the kingdom of the Son” and has compelled them to focus only on the prosperity and happiness of the visible world. 따라서 ‘흑암의 권세’의 정체와 그 기능이 드러나는 때는 오직 ‘사랑의 아들의 나라’가 나타날 때이다. 성령을 받은 성도는 ‘사랑의 아들의 나라’로 이미 옮겨졌기에 흑암의 권세의 활동을 감지하고 파악하게 된다. 성도들은 이 ‘흑암의 권세’가 인간으로 하여금 죄를 짓게 하고 그 죄에 그들을 묶어두는 강력한 힘이라는 것을 알게 된다. 또한 그 죄는 ‘사랑의 아들의 나라’의 존재를 부정하게 하고 보이는 세계의 번영과 행복에만 몰두하도록 자신들을 강박해왔다는 것을 깨닫게 된다.
Since what people have perceived as reality was a fake fabricated by the “dominion of darkness”, the self, the subject of perception that recognizes the reality, must be fake. Therefore, the choices, decisions, and beliefs of the self are also illusion and fake. Because of this, the representative propaganda phrase of Christianity, “If you believe in Jesus, you will go to heaven” is of course a fake. Saints are those who came to know that they were born in this lie and that they have lived by misunderstanding the lie as truth. 그동안 사람들이 현실이라고 인식했던 그것이 ‘흑암의 권세’에 의해 조작된 가짜였기에 그 현실을 인식하는 인식의 주체인 자아도 당연히 가짜일 수밖에 없다. 따라서 그 자아의 선택, 결정, 믿음이란 것도 허상이며 가짜이다. 형편이 이러하기에 기독교의 대표적인 선전문구인 “예수 믿으면 천국 간다.”는 것도 당연히 가짜이다. 성도란, 자신들이 이런 거짓 속에서 태어나서 거짓을 진리로 오해하면서 살아왔다는 것을 알게 된 자들이다.
Romans 4:7-8 reveals the nature of “the kingdom of the Son he loves” ; “Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.” 로마서 4:7-8에서는 ‘사랑의 아들의 나라’의 속성을 밝혀준다. “불법이 사함을 받고 죄가 가리어짐을 받는 사람들은 복이 있고 주께서 그 죄를 인정하지 아니하실 사람은 복이 있도다 함과 같으니라”
The saints are those who have the "signs" of their iniquity being forgiven and their sins covered. As they fully experience how precious this blessing of forgiveness of their sins is as they pass through this world where the “dominion of darkness” burns, they are deeply grateful to the Lord every day. 성도는 자신들의 불법이 사함을 받고 죄가 가리어짐을 받은 ‘흔적’을 지닌 자들이다. 그들은 자신들에게 주어진 이 죄 사함의 복이 얼마나 귀한지를 ‘흑암의 권세’가 작렬하는 이 세상을 지나는 가운데 충분히 경험하면서 주님께 날마다 더욱 깊이 감사한다.
